A gallery from Belgium contacted me to authenticate 2 sculptures to make sure I had made them and to make sure I was the Daniel Wiener who  made them. Today, they just sent me images of them and I was happy to see 2 objects I had made long ago – 35 years. They were made before I became the artist that I am but, still, it moves me to see them and to remember a younger self, searching and doing well by certain standards but not quite hitting the nail on the head.
